Brief

Duncan needed a new website to pair with his move towards higher-end, luxury garden builds.

We built a minimilistic, image-rich company site to show off his gorgeous work, with SEO strategy that brings the right clients to his inbox.

3 months on, Google appearances jumped from ~150 a day to ~850 a day, already bringing in clients at £25k a job.

Design & build

We designed the site with a minimal, image-heavy layout to highlight Duncan’s amazing work. We started off in a great position as Duncan had a lot of high-quality photos of his work.

Astro’s image library did some heavy lifting to make sure the images were optimised for the web by resizing them at build time to ensure the site loads quickly, and converting them to webp format to reduce file size.

As part of the package, I spent time doing keyword analysis on various competitors in the landscaping sector while taking into account the seasonality of the business.

The client is writing their own content, so I provided a content strategy document to help them write content that will rank well for the keywords we’ve identified.
